Expedition Earth & Sky (Ages 8-12)

Join ROCK Museum of Scotland Neck and Sylvan Heights Bird Park on a full day expedition exploring birds, nature, fossils, and rocks!
This camp is for ages 8-12.
9 a.m. Drop off at Sylvan Heights Bird Park
4 p.m. Pick up at ROCK Museum
Campers will begin the day at Sylvan Heights Bird Park, where they will learn about the world of birds, complete a scavenger hunt, meet live birds, and enjoy games, crafts, and activities.
The adventure continues with an afternoon at ROCK Museum, where campers will build their own rock collections, learn about rock cutting and polishing, and discover geology and earth sciences. Topics will include minerals, fossils, volcanoes, dinosaurs, and more.
Transportation will be provided from Sylvan Heights Bird Park to ROCK Museum
Adventurers should bring their own refillable water bottle and lunch.
Snacks will be provided at both locations.
