Are you looking for a rewarding way to spend a weekday morning? Join our education team this spring as we welcome schools for field trips and education programming. No experience is required; just bring your enthusiasm for science education and helping guests of all ages have a great visit!
As a Volunteer Education Attendant, your role may include:
- Welcoming and checking in schools as they arrive for field trips
- Providing helpful information and directions to teachers, bus drivers, students, and other guests
- Interacting with guests of all ages at “Exploration Station” information booths with games, activities and biofacts.
- Assisting in the Landing Zone aviary to provide a positive experience for guests.
