Wings & Wolves Guided Wildlife Tour
February 7 | 9:00 am – 7:30 pm

Come spend the day with Sylvan Heights Bird Park as we embark on a full day excursion exploring both Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge and Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in search of migrating waterfowl. Our team of educators will take you on a guided adventure to see large populations of ducks, geese and swans that winter in eastern NC. Included in this adventure is a trip to the Red Wolf Center in Columbia, NC to learn about eastern NC’s endangered red wolves. Both wolves and waterfowl share these habitats, and this area offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.
