Keeper Chats: Thursdays – Sundays
Meet a Sylvan Heights bird keeper! Learn about the park’s feathered residents and what it takes to care for more than 2,000 birds. Presentations take place at various locations throughout the park on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. A schedule is posted below, and in the park’s Visitor Center. Keeper Chats are free with park admission or membership!

Scarlet Ibis Feeding: Saturdays at 10:00 am
Meet at the Landing Zone to join a bird keeper at feeding time for the Scarlet Ibis!
South America Expedition: Saturdays at 1:15 pm
Meet at the South America Aviary to learn more about the birds that call this part of the park home.
Harlequin Duck Feeding: Sundays at 10:00 am
Meet at the Birds of Paradise Aviary to meet the colorful and charismatic Harlequin Ducks!

Meet a keeper at the Rhinoceros Hornbill Aviary near the treehouse to learn about the King Vulture!
