International Vulture Awareness Day

Celebrate vultures with an interactive activity throughout the park!
From September 1st – 8th, our QR code interactive signs will display fun facts about the world’s vultures, and the threats they face. Be on the lookout for these signs as you go through the park to learn about these amazing and misunderstood birds. On September 7th, International Vulture Awareness Day, look for additional vulture information in our Visitor Center, and pick up a free vulture sticker in the gift shop!
