Birding for Beginners (CANCELLED)

Learn the basics of birding on this guided walk in search of both resident and migratory songbirds!

A Sylvan Heights educator will instruct participants on the proper use of binoculars, as well as help spot and identify the various bird species found in both the field and forested wetland that surround the bird park.

This birding workshop will be held rain or shine. Participants should dress for the weather. A field guide and binoculars are recommended if you have them.  Loaner binoculars and field guides available upon advance request.

This event is for ages 13 and up.
