PARK HOURS
Sylvan Heights Bird Park is open Tuesday-Sunday year round. We are closed on Mondays, except some holidays (see below).
SUMMER HOURS (April-Oct)
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
WINTER HOURS (Nov – March)
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m
THE LANDING ZONE
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sylvan Heights Bird Park is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
We are open on Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Easter Monday.
TICKETS
Your ticket includes access to the park’s aviaries, gardens, and nature trails via self-guided walking tour. Tickets may be purchased online or upon arrival at the park’s Visitor Center.
ADULTS (ages 13 to 61): $14
SENIORS (ages 62+): $12
CHILDREN (ages 3 to 12): $10
CHILDREN (2 and under): Free
(NC state sales tax will be applied to admission price upon purchase)

Guided tours are for guests who would like additional in-depth information about the park’s birds, exhibits, and history. Advance reservations are required for all guided tours.
TOUR FEES
(In addition to park admission)
1-5 PEOPLE: $100 per group
6 OR MORE PEOPLE: $20/person
A golf cart can be provided for guided tours at no additional cost. Additional fees apply if extra tour guides are needed for large groups or multiple golf carts.
