Students will be introduced to the biology and ecology of the avian class. They will also be able to identify the anatomy of birds, flight styles and behaviors of our unique and exotic birds and waterfowl. Time: 2 hours
Students will study living organisms to help determine the quality of this unique ecosystem. While exploring our forested wetland, students will collect scientific data using field techniques to test water quality, investigate plant and animal specimens, identify adaptations used to survive in their environment and recognize impacts to wetland habitats. Time: 2 hours
