Home school is on the rise in North Carolina.  Parents are considering this more and more as the standards in our education change.  Public schools in our area are cutting out field trips and other cultural and physical activities to meet state standards.  The consequence of this is sometimes disturbing.  Children need to know that education can be fun and exciting. Our science based  programs allow home school students an opportunity to experience science in a structured environment and explore  nature.  Our outdoor labs offer hands-on experience in our wetlands.  Home school groups who schedule an educational program receive a 10% discount on educational programming, along with discounted admission.
